Lasse Mårtén started his career in 1991 and is now a first-call audio engineer in Sweden.
He is also, by being a major force behind the modern swedish indie sound, getting a lot of international attention.
Working mainly as a mixer, Lasse has a vast portfolio including Niki & The Dove, Johnossi, Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn & John, Firefox AK, Markus Krunegård, Shout Out Louds, Ed Harcourt, The Suzan, Lisa Miskovsky, Anna Ternheim, Maia Hirasawa, Moneybrother, Sahara Hotnights, The Perishers, Deportees and Sarah Blasko.
As a recording engineer he has been a part of high-profile projects like Kelly Clarkson's Grammy award winning song "Since u been gone" as well as albums with Primal Scream, Backstreet Boys, Céline Dion and P!nk.
Lasse has also produced and co-produced a number of artists including Lykke Li, Blindside, Firefox AK and Grammy (Swedish) award winning albums with Johnossi and Abalone Dots.
His home base is one of swedens most renowned studios, Decibel Studios in Stockholm, which he is the co-owner of. |

Lasse Mårtén is off to a great start this year celebrating the success of mixing the Grammy (Swedish) award winning albums Wounded Rhymes by Lykke Li and Islands & Shores by Deportees. Lykke Li won the Grammys for “Album of the year” and “Artist of the year” and Deportees won the Grammy for “Rock of the year” and also the award “Band of the year” at P3 Guld (Radio) in January. |
